Open Access Publishing

The “Leon Battista Alberti” Library provides assistance to professors and researchers from some of its Departments (DA and DISTAL) regarding the dissemination of publications and research data in Open Access.

The main objectives of the service are:
• to offer advice on the OA mandate of European and national funding programmes and University policies;
• to provide information on the concessions negotiated by the University with publishers for gold OA publishing;
• to carry out bibliographic checks and validate full-text attachments to research product records uploaded in IRIS (official research publications repository), especially those required to be OA;
• to offer basic guidance and relevant contacts concerning research data management.
