InterLibrary Loan and Document Delivery

The service is available to students and staff of the Cesena Campus who are registered with the Library and need books, parts of books, or articles not held in the collection for study or research purposes.

• Books: via the online form
• Articles and part of books: via Nilde Users or online form

• requests are processed within two working days; 
• the time required to receive the requested material depends on the supplying library and postal services;
• the service is free of charge, but any costs charged by the supplying library are covered by users;
• borrowed books must be returned directly to the staff at the section that processed the request, within the time limits set by the supplying library;
• copies of articles or book chapters will be provided in printed form at the relevant library section and do not need to be returned.

• requests are processed within two working days;
• articles and book chapters will be sent electronically, where allowed by licensing agreements;
• books requested via inter-library loan are sent by registered mail; please use the same method for their return;
• items listed in the catalogue as for reference only or as not available for inter-library loan are excluded from the service;
• the service is free of charge within the Bologna SBN Network and for institutions with reciprocal free agreements. Otherwise, reimbursement may be requested via IFLA vouchers.
